Abortion Pill Reversal Consultation and Follow-Up Care
Sometimes after the first abortion pill has been taken, a woman has second thoughts.
It may not be too late to stop the abortion. Help is available.
You may be able to have a second chance for a different choice.
Thousands of women have taken the first mifepristone pill and were then able to continue their pregnancies by taking progesterone with a success rate of at least 64%.
Pregnancy Resources does not provide progesterone, but staff nurses are fully trained to help walk with women through the process and provide limited first trimester follow-up care in collaboration with the Abortion Pill Rescue Network and the women’s prescribing doctor.
Post Abortion Medical Screening
It is essential for every woman who has recently terminated a pregnancy to receive medical follow-up in the weeks after the abortion procedure. Staff nurses can provide essential, basic medical and mental wellness care 2 to 6 weeks following the use of abortion pills or surgical abortion procedures. Call the center closest to you for more information.
Limitation of Services
Pregnancy Resources is a medical clinic, but in limited scope. We are not a full-service medical clinic. There is usually a nurse on duty to help with any questions. We offer referrals to those who are not already under the care of an OB physician.
